Artist's Comments Contest Entry to  !  ... HOLY CRAP. THIS TOOK FOREVER. Seriously, 12+ hours DEFIANTLY. DX -dies a bit inside- But I friggen LOVE this picture!  I don't think there is anything about it that I actually don't like for once. XD And so this is going to be my new favorite deviation thingie. lD And I don't even really care if I lose this contest this time, because I just love how the picture came out anywho. XD The theme of the contest was "Eureka's perfect gift"- and I spent like, a month thinking about it. XDD Then me and Kyo-chan were talking about, and I was like: "Well...I guess she would like to just be happy and at peace. So I am gonna run with that." XDD -SHOT- So Eureka's perfect gift in my opinion would not be an item, but being able to be at peace. So why is Anemone there? Because Anemone and Eureka fought a lot in the anime (and a whole lot in the manga XD), but I think that Eureka would want to be friends with Anemone.  So Anemone standing next to Eureka would be peace itself. XDDI just love this picture so much. XD I think my style has changed SO much in the past year, I looked at this picture and I was like: "Whoa. What happened!?" XDDD  I love how I did the hair, eyes, and skyfish overall. XD So here is Anemone in her default dress, and Eureka in her End-of-Series white dress and wings. I forgot the little gem on Eureka's forehead, but I think it looks fine with ought it. XDAnd now I have to go and rush my Christmas picture to DA. XDD But merry /early/ Christmas everyone!   And I SWEAR, If I see this anywhere else on the internet but on DA, I am taking this off. But honestly, I've seen some other people draw 'em--and they look NASTY. You just made them all adorable and rawkin' and everything XD Now you're gonna' be pretty pissed if I stopped the comment there after only talking about the sky fish, huh? XD
ANYWAYS (<--I always have to say that because I always start off-topic XDD)!! The eyes. They're really attractive *0* I love the lines with the highlight around them on both of their eyes--really catches your attention
Eureka's wings--soo shiny!! They look rubbery like they do in the anime XD I love the shading and shines on them *0* The shading and shines on both of the girls' hair is rawkin' as well XD The white shines reallstand out ^w^ (I love the shading/lighting on Anemone's clips--they look like gradients XD)
THE CLOUDS. THEY LOOK LIKE THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN YOU DO O-O The use of pink and blue in them is absolute genius X3 Polar opposite colors but they shade and blend so well together X3 Really rawkin' turn out! I can see the emotion and effort you put into this!!
